Running Behind!
So, I have not gotten to posting the kids & Mick's pictures from Halloween, but it's coming soon. As usual things are hectic and on top of trying to get ready for Thanksgiving. Most of my dad's family is flying or driving in from out of town, so I am just nuts trying to get everything together. Just wanted you all to know that there will be updates soon!

JOSHUA'S 3RD BIRTHDAY

So, I am posting pictures to Flickr from Joshua's 3rd Birthday. Joshua asked to have his party at Chuck E Cheeses and a fun time was had by all! It was great fun and we did not have to cook, clean or make any food, BONUS!! The Diego cake was made by Myra from the daycare. It was amazing and it was a job keeping the kids off the cake until it was time to blow out the candles! I still have a hard time believing that Joshua is 3 years old!!

Happy Halloween, well almost, here are some pictures of the Pumpkins that we made for Halloween. Mick loves the holiday as he tells me that it is celebrated quite differently here than in the UK. I guess over in England they carve turnips not pumpkins (wow!). I thought that he was lying, but he swears that he is telling the truth. So, what I was getting at is Mick loves Halloween. :-)

Here is a picture of the momma elephant at the Louisville Zoo. My boss is on the Board of Trustees and he arranged for us to have a behind the scenes tour at the zoo. We got to see the new babies and hang out the elephants and the most fun was feeding the polar bear marshmallows!! Yes it was really cool. I am posting some of the pictures here and on Flickr!!!

So here is a family picture from Sarah Petersen's wedding in Panama City, Fl in August. It's rare that we ever get a good family picture, so I am quite happy with this one, check out Tzeitel, for those who have not seen her since she was little. I am very proud of her for actually dressing up! Anyway things here are crazy, Joseph is sick and I am slammed at work, but can't get anything done at home because the little guy is so miserable, so I am going to get some work done, just wanted to share the picture.

Finally,

I know I am horrible, but I started a myspace page as well and keeping up with both had been a nightmare.

We are all doing well, I just wrapped a week long trial and have another one starting in less than a month. I started working at this family law practice, and I did not think I would like it, but I have been pleasantly suprised. I don't always like the cases, but I really like the attorney that I am working with the work is challenging.

Gosh the kids are growing like weeds. Joshua is pretty much potty trained, he has nights like last night where he has accidents, but for the most part he is doing really well. I am so proud of him especially since he is not even three yet. He and Joseph play pretty well, they have their days, but they reallydo enjoy each other.

Joshua is going to be musician we have decided, there is not a muscial instrument that he does not enjoy playing. If there is music he picks up his guitar or grabs his piano and plays along or dances, it's quite entertaining. His teacher at the pre-school today grabbed me this morning and told me how advanced he is. I was excited and a little suprised, I quit reading all of the development books once he passed 1 as I did not want to pigeonhole him or push him, but he LOVES to read and count and is always brining me letter and number books to read with him.

Joseph is too funny for words. He is just as smart as his big brother, but a little bit more devious. (hahahaha) His latest thing is he now calls me Daddy instead of mommy. Iam not sure why, but he likes to do it. If you tell him to say mommy he will, but then will laugh and call me daddy! He is talking a lot and can say dog, thank you, no, eat, Katie, debbie, bath, bottle, and bye bye.

Well, I had better get back to work, I am posting a ton of pictures to flickr to check them out.

I promise there will be more frequent posts from now on :-)

Hi All
I know I was supposed to keep up with this better, but you know how life goes
:-)
We are all doing really well. Joshua is talking up a storm and the stuff that he says amazes me on a daily basis. We are still working on potty training. We have good and bad days, but more good days than bad lately. I let him go pick out his own "big boy" underwear and he was quite pleased with that!
Joseph is now standing on his own and is getting his two top teeth in at the same time. He has been a bit cranky the last couple of days and now it all makes sense. I can not believe how fast my little one has grown up! It seems like just yesterday he was born and now he will be 1 in June.

I am doing well just working a lot, but my plan is to take the month of July off and spend it with the boys, I can't wait!
Mick continues to work on the deck and pool it is all ready except for the new stuff that he adds daily (hahaha) This is just a quick update, I will add some new pictures of the boys soon.

Well, despite the cold and the sickness here at the Parrott house we had a pretty good Easter. I think the picture of Joshua about says it all :-) The boys have both been sick and now Mommy is sick too, but we are all happy anyway.
I won this HUGE Easter basket from a raffle I had entered from the American Cancer Society. Joshua stole the hat off one of the bunnies and has worn it all weekend. Mick finally got him to take the flowers off of the hat, but he still insisted on wearing the hat!
Joseph had so much fun chasing the cars on the racetrack that Joshua got, and chasing the cat everywhere. I am often amazed that Oz comes around him but he does, and Joseph usually rewards him with a big kiss and a tug on his fur or his tail. I added the rest of the Easter pictures to Flickr. I know there is a cool way to link the photos directly to this post, but I have not figured it out yet, I am going to have to call Sally Gulde, my blog guru and ask her :-) Until; then next to the post is a link that says Flickr which should take you to some recent pictures of the kids and the Easter pictures.

Things here as usual are crazy. Joseph is crawling, pulling up and cruising so, he is into everything! What I find most funny is that he picks on Joshua. It is beyond funny. I never thought I would here a 2 1/2 year old crying because his baby brother touched him.
Joshua is a COMIC. He now knows that he is funny and when he makes jokes or does something that we find amusing he says "I'm funny". His new obsession is Blues Clues and Diego. He sings and dances with both shows. I have got to get him on video doing his little dance it is COMICAL.
Mick and I are both working a lot of hours, but the plan is for me to take at least a month off this summer, so I am trying to get some money put away so that I can do that.
The weather here is insane! Last week we were in the 80's this week we did not get out of the 40's and it snowed yesterday. I can not wait for summer!!
Well, I am trying to figure out how to link this to Flicker so that I can upload pictures there.
I left Joseph upstairs alone so that I could come down and post this and send out the e-mail to everyone. I will do my best to try and keep this blog as updated as possible.

Things have been crazy here in the Parrott household. I just got off working 10 days in a row to get ready for a trial and then attend trial. Poor Mick had the kids pretty much all by himself. He did a great job, but the house has suffered. The kids are doing great. Joseph is crawling everywhere and annoying his brother, and Joshua is talking up a storm.
On the comedy side of things, Mick went out to smoke a cigarette and Joshua locked the storm door and would not let him in!! He stood at the door laughing at him and then shut the inside door!! Luckily the back door on the deck was open, so Mick came in and suprised him.
Have to run. Just wanted to start this blog and I will try and keep it updated in the future!!
