CHANGES
Sorry I have not blogged in awhile. I wanted to particiapte in Not me Monday this week, but I have had so much going this last weekend, I did not really take note of all of the crazy things that happened.
In a nutshell we have been having problems with Joshua's behavior at school. We have worked with the teachers, upped his discipline at home, taken away his favorite Batman toys etc and finally started taking him to a counselor, nothing seemed to work. I will say that I don't think that his school gave him enough time with his counselor to see any improvement. That being said I was asked by the director at the daycare to find another school for Joshua last week. I freaked out, because if you have your kids in daycare you know that it is really hard to get into a good school, most times you are on a waiting list and then to try and find a place for two kids... I almost had a nervous breakdown thinking about it! Luckily for us God was on our side, and the bad economy, as lots of people have had to pull their kids out of daycare because of job loss etc, so I was able to get both kids into La Petite. It's going to be tight for us financially, but I think that it will be a much better school for both kids since then incorporate both montessori and traditional education into their curriculum.
I also feel this will be a MUCH better place for Joshua since I found out this weekend that his teacher whispered into his ear during one of his temper fits, that his mommy and daddy needed to whip his butt with a belt! Seriously!
Overall we are well and I am hoping for a new start for my boys and less drama overall. I am sad in some ways since my boys have both been at this school since they were 9 months old, but I am looking forward to a new beginning!

NOT ME MONDAYS!
Yes, it is that time of the week for Not me Mondays!
No, not me, I am not bummed that I forgot that it was Monday until 11:42, so I am going to be very very low on Mr Link's list, no not me.
No, not me, I did not spend the two days I was trapped at home due to the ice and snow doing nothing but reading trashy romance novels and relaxing, no not me. I took full adavantage of the time I had at home and worked on the organization of my house because that is what I should have done.
No, not me, I did not send my son over to hug his daddy because he had a poopy diaper and I did not want to change it. No, I would never do something like that.
No, not me, I did not let my 4 year old wear the same batman outfit for 2 days and nights in a row because I did not want to fight with him to take it off. No that most certainly was not me!
I also did not the same above mentioned 4 year also wear his shoes to bed 2 nights in a row because they are his "Bat Boots", and his oufit would be incomplete without them. No, that would be unsanitary and I would NEVER do anything like that.
I did not tell my husband that I needed to go into the office earlier than I needed to so that I could go meet a girlfriend of mine for brunch. No, I would never do anything that deceitful!
No, not me, i did not feel very guilty for the above mentioned deceit and end up confessing all to my hubby, I would never do anything like that!

No Not Me!
No, I did not allow my 4 year old to run naked around the house for over an hour waiting for his Batman suit to finish washing and drying because I did not have the energy to fight with him about putting other clotheson and ONLY the BATMAN outfit would do.
No, not me, I did not drag my two year old son who was wrapped around my leg, across the kitchen while I was cooking dinner because it was easier and quicker than trying to pry him off of my leg.
No, not me, I did not allow my two year old son to have 2 (yes Two) ice cream cones at Ryans because he has been sick and not eating well, and I figured food is food.
I did not bribe my four year old son with chocolate at 7:00 a.m. to get him in the car for school because we were running late and I consoled myself that is really was ok since it does have milk in it, no not me!
